Do you love dachshunds as much as I do? This adorable award winning raw edge fusible appliqué quilt pattern is designed to make twelve 10-1/2 inch quilt blocks using fusible web and your cotton fabric scraps! Pattern pieces are full sized, no enlarging required.
It is designed for hand appliqué but can be done using a sewing machine for most parts. Use it to make 12 small decorative wall hangings (one for each month) or use all 12 to make a larger quilt or wall hanging!

Background:
This is my first large quilt and was made and designed by me in April of 2014. At that time my husband was suddenly hit with a very serious illness and was unable to work for several weeks. I knew he needed me with him (not in the basement sewing) but I needed something to occupy my time. I started Year of Dachshund, in honor of Max and Ruby my doxies, and hand appliquéd it by my husband side. Thankfully he recovered, and my friends loved my quilt and encouraged me to make a pattern! Here it is!
